Ingredients

  • Firm Tofu - 300 grams
  • Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Black Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Almond Flour - 1/4 cup
  • Pork Rind Crumbs - 1/4 cup
  • Chili Flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green Onions - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Press the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, and black pepper. Toss the tofu cubes in this marinade and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, mix the almond flour, pork rind crumbs, and chili flakes.
  5. Coat each marinated tofu cube in the crumb mixture, ensuring they are well covered.
  6. Place the coated tofu nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and serve warm.
