- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Drain the tofu and press it between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut it into 1.5 cm cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and gently toss until they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle the cornstarch over the marinated tofu cubes and toss gently to coat, ensuring an even layer.
- Place the tofu cubes on a lined baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart for even cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
