Ingredients
- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ground ginger - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Press the firm tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into thin slices (about 2-3 mm thick).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ground ginger, chili powder, and salt.
- Add the tofu slices to the bowl and gently toss to coat them evenly with the marinade. Let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated tofu slices in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Sprinkle the black sesame seeds over the tofu slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping the slices halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
