- Egg noodles - 150 grams
- Chicken breast, diced - 200 grams
- Bell pepper, diced - 1 medium
- Carrot, shredded - 1 medium
- Green onions, chopped - 2 stalks
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Egg - 1 large
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 50 grams
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the diced bell pepper, shredded carrot, and chopped green onions, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, cooked chicken and vegetable mixture, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and beaten egg. Mix well to combine.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
