- Chinese chives - 50 grams, chopped
- Carrot - 50 grams, grated
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, sugar, and water to form a smooth batter.
- In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add chopped mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.
- Stir in the grated carrot and chopped Chinese chives, cooking for an additional 3 minutes.
- Season the mixture with soy sauce, salt, and pepper, then remove from heat.
- Pour half of the rice flour batter into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Layer the sautéed vegetable mixture over the batter, then pour the remaining batter on top, smoothing it out.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
