Ingredients

  • whole wheat dumpling wrappers - 10 pieces
  • ground chicken - 200 grams
  • shiitake mushrooms - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • green onions - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • egg - 1, beaten
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped shiitake mushrooms, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, beaten egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a heaping teaspoon of the filling in the center. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  4. Place the dumplings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil.
