  • Beef sirloin - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 200 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 50 ml
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring it's well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. While the beef is marinating, bring a pot of water to boil and blanch the broccoli florets for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  5. In a baking dish, layer the marinated beef evenly and top with the blanched broccoli.
  6. Pour 50 ml of water into the baking dish, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the beef to brown slightly.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
