Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 1 cup
  • Psyllium husk - 1 tablespoon
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground pork - 150 grams
  • Green onions - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for keto) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, psyllium husk, salt, egg, and water. Mix until a dough forms and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Divide the dough into 10 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball. Flatten each ball into a thin circle, about 10 cm in diameter.
  4. Place a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
  5. Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer. Carefully drop the wontons into the water in batches and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  6. Remove the wontons with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with a dipping sauce of your choice.
