Ingredients
- Almond flour - 1 cup
- Psyllium husk - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Ground pork - 150 grams
- Green onions - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for keto) - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, psyllium husk, salt, egg, and water. Mix until a dough forms and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix together the ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper until well combined.
- Divide the dough into 10 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball. Flatten each ball into a thin circle, about 10 cm in diameter.
- Place a tablespoon of the pork mixture in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
- Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer. Carefully drop the wontons into the water in batches and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
- Remove the wontons with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with a dipping sauce of your choice.
