  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Whole-grain burger buns - 2
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Lettuce - 4 leaves
  • Low-fat cheese - 2 slices
  • Mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Ketchup - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill or a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chicken breast with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Drizzle olive oil on the grill or skillet and place the chicken patty on it.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
  5. While the chicken is cooking, toast the whole-grain burger buns on the grill for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
