Steps

  1. Drain and rinse the canned green jackfruit under cold water, then shred it using your hands or a fork, discarding the seeds.
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, lime juice, and chili flakes (if using) to create a marinade.
  3. Add the shredded jackfruit to the marinade and mix well, ensuring all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
