  • Almond milk - 120 ml
  • Vegetable oil - 30 ml
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Guava paste - 100 grams
  • Powdered sugar for dusting - 10 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 20x30 cm baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the almond milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth and free of lumps.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking tray and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes before carefully removing it from the tray and peeling off the parchment paper.
  8. While the cake is still warm, spread the guava paste evenly over the surface of the cake.
  9. Starting from one end, carefully roll the cake into a log shape, using the parchment to help guide it.
  10. Once rolled, place the cake seam-side down on a serving plate and dust with powdered sugar before slicing.
