Ingredients

  • Shredded coconut - 150 grams
  • Coconut milk - 200 ml
  • Agave syrup - 3 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Pinch of salt - 1

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, agave syrup, coconut oil, and a pinch of salt. Heat over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  2. Add the shredded coconut and vanilla extract into the saucepan, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool slightly, then refrigerate for about 10 minutes until it is easier to handle.
  4. Once cooled, use your hands to form small balls (about 2.5 cm in diameter) from the mixture.
  5. Roll each ball in shredded coconut to coat evenly.
  6. Place the coated beijinhos on a plate and refrigerate for another 10 minutes before serving.
