- Tambaqui fillets - 400 grams
- Lime juice - 60 ml
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Fresh cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
- Olive oil - 30 ml
- Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Sliced onions - 100 grams
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a bowl, combine lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and paprika to create a marinade.
- Place the tambaqui fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.
- In a baking dish, layer the sliced onions, bell pepper, and tomato to create a bed for the fish.
- Place the marinated tambaqui fillets on top of the vegetable bed.
- Sprinkle the chopped cilantro over the fish and vegetables.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the fish is cooked through and flaky.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
