  • Almond Flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh Basil - 10 grams, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Parmesan Cheese (optional) - 20 grams, grated

Steps

  1. Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into smaller pieces, then steam them until tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mash the steamed sweet potatoes until smooth and let cool slightly.
  3. Add the almond flour, egg, salt, and pepper to the mashed sweet potatoes and mix until a dough forms.
  4. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thickness, then cut into thin strips to create the talharim.
  5. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Add the talharim to the skillet and gently toss in the garlic oil for about 3-4 minutes, allowing them to heat through.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil.
  8. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
