Ingredients

  • T-bone steak - 500 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Chimichurri sauce - 100 grams (for serving)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Place the T-bone steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the steak is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill to high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for about 10 minutes.
  5. Grill the T-bone steak for about 6-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time according to your desired doneness.
  6. Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve the grilled T-bone steak with chimichurri sauce drizzled on top.
