  • Canned black beans - 200 grams, rinsed and drained
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, diced
  • Celery - 1 stalk, diced
  • Vegetable broth - 500 ml
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion, carrot, and celery, and sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cumin, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
