- Milk - 100 ml
- Grated Parmesan cheese - 50 grams
- Grated mozzarella cheese - 50 grams
- Chopped parsley - 10 grams
- Olive oil - for frying
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and then add the egg, mixing well until combined.
- Gradually add the milk to the butter and egg mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Fold in the grated Parmesan, mozzarella, and chopped parsley until evenly distributed.
- On a floured surface, roll the dough out to about 1 cm thick. Cut into small circles or squares, about 5 cm in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry the dough pieces until they are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
