Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Mixed salad greens - 100 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Cucumber - 1/2, diced
  • Red bell pepper - 1/2, diced
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the tofu cubes to the bowl and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the marinated tofu. Cook for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red bell pepper.
  6. Once the tofu is cooked, add it to the salad mix and gently toss everything together.
  7. Top the salad with sliced avocado and chopped cilantro before serving.
