- Gelatin powder - 1 teaspoon (about 3 grams)
- Water - 2 tablespoons (30 ml) for gelatin
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons (25 grams)
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
Steps
- Start by preparing the gelatin: In a small bowl, dissolve the gelatin powder in 2 tablespoons of warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it blooms.
- In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, passion fruit pulp, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
- Gently heat the bloomed gelatin in a microwave for about 10-15 seconds or until fully dissolved. Ensure it doesn't boil.
- Add the dissolved gelatin to the blender with the other ingredients and blend again until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into two small ramekins or dessert cups.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set completely.
- Once set, serve chilled, optionally garnishing with fresh passion fruit seeds or mint leaves.
