Ingredients
- Sweetened condensed milk - 200 ml
- Whole milk - 100 ml
- Eggs - 2 large
- Granulated sugar - 100 g
- Water - 50 ml
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a small saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water over medium heat to create a caramel. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then let it cook without stirring until it turns a golden brown color.
- Quickly pour the caramel into a 500 ml pudding mold or small baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom evenly.
- In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the blended mixture over the caramel in the mold.
- Place the mold in a larger baking dish and fill the outer dish with boiling water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the pudding mold.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the pudim is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until thoroughly chilled.
- To serve, carefully run a knife around the edges of the pudim, invert onto a plate, and enjoy!
