Ingredients

  • Sweetened condensed milk - 200 ml
  • Whole milk - 100 ml
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Granulated sugar - 100 g
  • Water - 50 ml
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water over medium heat to create a caramel. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then let it cook without stirring until it turns a golden brown color.
  3. Quickly pour the caramel into a 500 ml pudding mold or small baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom evenly.
  4. In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  5. Pour the blended mixture over the caramel in the mold.
  6. Place the mold in a larger baking dish and fill the outer dish with boiling water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the pudding mold.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until the pudim is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until thoroughly chilled.
  9. To serve, carefully run a knife around the edges of the pudim, invert onto a plate, and enjoy!
