- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pizza dough - 250 grams
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
- Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Bell pepper - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a bowl, combine the picanha beef with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the tomato sauce.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated picanha for about 4-5 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.
- Distribute the sliced picanha evenly over the cheese, then add the sliced red onion and bell pepper on top.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, slice, and serve hot.
