  • Apple - 1 large, thinly sliced
  • Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Walnuts - 30 grams, chopped (optional)
  • Almonds - 30 grams, sliced (for topping, optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil, honey, and egg until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and use your hands to shape it into a round pizza crust, about 0.5 cm thick.
  6. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While the crust is baking, prepare the apple topping by tossing the thinly sliced apple with cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl.
  8. Once the crust is baked, remove it from the oven and arrange the spiced apple slices evenly on top, sprinkling walnuts and sliced almonds if using.
  9. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the apples are tender.
