  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Canadian bacon, sliced - 100 grams
  • Red bell pepper, sliced - 1/2 medium
  • Olives, sliced - 30 grams
  • Fresh basil leaves - a handful

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into florets and steam until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Drain the cauliflower and let it cool slightly, then pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice.
  4. Transfer the riced cauliflower to a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  6. Spread the cauliflower mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a round pizza crust about 1 cm thick.
  7. Bake the crust for 20 minutes, or until it is golden brown and firm.
  8. Remove the crust from the oven, spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top, and layer with Canadian bacon, red bell pepper, and olives.
  9. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the toppings are heated through and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve hot.
