Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 150 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 200 grams
  • Cream cheese - 100 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Linguiça sausage (sliced) - 150 grams
  • Bell pepper (sliced) - 1/2 medium
  • Onion (sliced) - 1/2 medium
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, 100 grams of shredded mozzarella, cream cheese, egg, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the dough into a round pizza shape about 1/2 cm thick.
  4. Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced linguiça sausage, bell pepper, and onion, and sauté until the vegetables are tender and the sausage is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Remove the crust from the oven and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Add the sautéed linguiça and vegetables on top of the cheese. Sprinkle oregano over the pizza.
  8. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve.
