- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Bell pepper - 1 small, sliced
- Zucchini - 1 small, sliced
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Fresh basil leaves - a handful
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the cooked lentils, tomato paste, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well and cook for about 5 minutes until heated through.
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread the lentil mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Top the pizza with sliced bell pepper, zucchini, and halved cherry tomatoes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
