Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 300 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Fresh basil - a handful, chopped
  • Bell pepper - 50 grams, sliced
  • Olives - 30 grams, sliced

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and chop the cauliflower into florets, then steam or microwave until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Once the cauliflower is cooked, let it cool slightly, then transfer it to a clean kitchen towel and wring out as much moisture as possible.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the drained cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until a dough-like consistency forms.
  5. Spread the cauliflower mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a pizza crust about 1 cm thick.
  6. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
  7. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
  8. Add the sliced bell pepper, olives, and sprinkle with fresh basil.
  9. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the toppings are heated through.
  10. Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
