Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 300 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Fresh basil - a handful, chopped
- Bell pepper - 50 grams, sliced
- Olives - 30 grams, sliced
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and chop the cauliflower into florets, then steam or microwave until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the cauliflower is cooked, let it cool slightly, then transfer it to a clean kitchen towel and wring out as much moisture as possible.
- In a large bowl, combine the drained cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until a dough-like consistency forms.
- Spread the cauliflower mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a pizza crust about 1 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
- Add the sliced bell pepper, olives, and sprinkle with fresh basil.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the toppings are heated through.
- Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
