Steps
- In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add whole wheat flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture; knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let it rise for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Add cleaned chicken hearts to the skillet, season with salt, black pepper, and oregano. Cook for about 10 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a heart shape and place it on a baking sheet.
- Spread diced tomatoes over the dough, followed by the cooked chicken hearts, diced bell pepper, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
