Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Carne Seca (dried beef) - 150 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh oregano - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the sliced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the shredded carne seca to the pan, mixing well with the onions and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes, then season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  5. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  6. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Distribute the cooked carne seca mixture evenly over the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Finish with chopped fresh oregano.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve hot.
