- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Fresh basil leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a pot of boiling water, blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green, then drain and set aside.
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, add the minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the blanched broccoli to the skillet, season with salt, black pepper, oregano, and red chili flakes if using, and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle the nutritional yeast over the sautéed broccoli, mixing well.
- Spread the broccoli mixture evenly over the tomato sauce on the pizza.
- Top with halved cherry tomatoes.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
