  • Parmesan cheese - 20 grams, grated

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a larger bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, then knead until a smooth dough forms (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 20 minutes, or until it doubles in size.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a 25 cm (10 inch) round.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
