Ingredients

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat the coconut oil over medium heat. Add the popped popcorn and set aside in a large bowl.
  2. In the same pot, combine coconut sugar, water, and sea salt. Stir well and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes without stirring, until it thickens slightly.
  4. Remove the pot from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the popped popcorn, stirring gently to coat evenly.
  6. Let the pipoca doce cool for a few minutes before serving, allowing the coating to harden slightly.
