Ingredients
- Popcorn kernels - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
- Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
- Smoked paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a large pot with a lid, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add a few popcorn kernels to the pot and cover with the lid. Wait until those kernels pop to ensure the oil is hot enough.
- Once the test kernels pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels to the pot and cover again.
- Shake the pot occasionally to prevent the popcorn from burning, and continue cooking until the popping slows down to about 2 seconds between pops.
- Remove the pot from the heat and carefully transfer the popcorn to a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix the sea salt, nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the popcorn while it's still warm, and toss to coat evenly.
