Ingredients

  • Picanha beef - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
  • Chimichurri sauce - 4 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat a griddle or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. While the griddle heats up, season the picanha beef with minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Drizzle olive oil on the hot griddle and place the picanha on it, searing for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the picanha from the griddle and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  5. In the same griddle, add the sliced bell pepper and zucchini, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
  6. To serve, place the sliced picanha on plates, top with chimichurri sauce, and arrange the sautéed vegetables on the side. Garnish with chopped parsley.
