- Garlic - 2 cloves, sliced
- Dried red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Black peppercorns - 1 teaspoon
- Dill sprigs - 4 sprigs
Steps
- Wash and slice the cucumbers into thin rounds and place them in a clean glass jar.
- In a saucepan, combine the white vinegar, water, salt, and sugar substitute. Heat the mixture over medium heat until the salt and sugar substitute dissolve completely.
- Add the sliced garlic, chili flakes, and black peppercorns to the vinegar mixture. Bring it to a gentle boil and then remove from heat.
- Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the cucumbers in the jar, ensuring they are fully submerged.
- Add the dill sprigs to the jar, seal tightly, and let it cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving for the best flavor. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
