- Cherry Tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
- Fresh Basil - 10 leaves, chopped
- Parmesan Cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the quinoa penne. Cook according to package instructions, usually around 10-12 minutes, until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften.
- Once the penne is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the tomato mixture. Toss everything together to combine well.
