Ingredients

  • Kale - 200 grams, stems removed and chopped
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the chopped kale and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until it begins to simmer.
  4. Add the cooked kale to the skillet and mix well. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional parmesan if desired.
