- Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the chopped kale and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until it begins to simmer.
- Add the cooked kale to the skillet and mix well. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parmesan if desired.
