  • Penne pasta - 200 grams
  • Canned tuna in olive oil - 1 can (about 200 grams)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, chopped
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
  • Black olives - 50 grams, sliced
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Stir in the canned tuna (drained), sliced black olives, and lemon juice. Mix well and let it cook for another 3-4 minutes to heat through.
  5. Add the cooked penne to the skillet, tossing everything together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve hot.
