  • Garlic cloves - 2, minced
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
  • Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Water - 500 milliliters

Steps

  1. Marinate the fish fillets in lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper for 15 minutes.
  2. In a steaming pot, add water and bring it to a boil.
  3. Layer the bottom of a steamer basket with red bell pepper, onion, and tomato slices.
  4. Place the marinated fish fillets on top of the vegetables.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the fish and sprinkle chopped cilantro.
  6. Cover and steam for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
