- cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- walnuts (chopped) - 30g
- whole grain digestive biscuits - 6 pieces
- cocoa powder - 1 tablespoon (for dusting)
Steps
- In a small saucepan, melt the dark chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and cornstarch until well combined.
- Gradually pour the almond milk mixture into the melted chocolate, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency.
- Remove from heat and allow the chocolate cream to cool slightly.
- While the cream cools, prepare a serving dish. Break the digestive biscuits into halves and layer them at the bottom of the dish.
