- Chocolate cookies - 100 grams
- Sweetened condensed milk - 200 grams
- Cocoa powder - 25 grams
- Milk - 200 ml
- Heavy cream - 100 ml
- Sugar - 30 grams
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Dark chocolate (for garnish) - 20 grams
Steps
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let it cool for a few minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the sugar until soft peaks form.
- Once the chocolate mixture has cooled, gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
- To assemble the pavê, dip each chocolate cookie briefly in milk and layer them at the bottom of a serving dish.
- Spread half of the chocolate cream mixture over the cookies, then repeat the layers with the remaining cookies and cream.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set before serving.
- Before serving, shave dark chocolate over the top for garnish.
