Ingredients

  • Duck breast - 400 grams
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Fresh rosemary - 2 sprigs, chopped
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped rosemary, olive oil, soy sauce, honey, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and chili flakes to create a marinade.
  2. Score the skin of the duck breasts in a crosshatch pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat.
  3. Place the duck breasts in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the duck from the marinade, letting excess drip off, and place skin-side down on the grill.
  6. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, then flip and grill for another 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 65°C (149°F).
  7. Remove the duck from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve with your choice of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
