- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped rosemary, olive oil, soy sauce, honey, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and chili flakes to create a marinade.
- Score the skin of the duck breasts in a crosshatch pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat.
- Place the duck breasts in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the duck from the marinade, letting excess drip off, and place skin-side down on the grill.
- Grill for about 6-8 minutes, then flip and grill for another 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 65°C (149°F).
- Remove the duck from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with your choice of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
