- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated (optional)
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the gluten-free pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, sautéing for about 2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic sauce, tossing to combine. If the mixture is too dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Add salt and black pepper to taste, then stir in the chopped parsley and mix well.
- Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
