- Tapioca flour - 150 grams
- Milk - 100 milliliters
- Water - 50 milliliters
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Grated Parmesan cheese - 75 grams
- Grated mozzarella cheese - 50 grams
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, water, vegetable oil, and salt. Heat over medium until it just begins to boil.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and slowly pour the hot liquid over the tapioca flour in a mixing bowl. Stir well until fully combined and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
- Once the mixture is cool enough to handle, add the egg and mix until smooth.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese until evenly distributed.
- Shape the dough into small balls (about the size of a golf ball) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each ball.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
