  • Milk - 100 milliliters
  • Water - 50 milliliters
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Grated Parmesan cheese - 75 grams
  • Grated mozzarella cheese - 50 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the milk, water, vegetable oil, and salt. Heat over medium until it just begins to boil.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and slowly pour the hot liquid over the tapioca flour in a mixing bowl. Stir well until fully combined and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
  4. Once the mixture is cool enough to handle, add the egg and mix until smooth.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese until evenly distributed.
  6. Shape the dough into small balls (about the size of a golf ball) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each ball.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
