Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel and dice the sweet potato, then steam or boil it until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the sweet potato and mash it in a bowl until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine the mashed sweet potato, plant-based milk, olive oil, and maple syrup, and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough lightly on a floured surface for about 2-3 minutes until it is smooth.
- Shape the dough into small rolls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of each roll.
