Ingredients

  • Quail eggs - 12
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a small pot, gently place the quail eggs and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 4 minutes for soft-boiled eggs.
  3. Carefully remove the eggs and place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process for a few minutes.
  4. While the eggs cool, heat the olive oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in the paprika, salt, and black pepper, cooking for another minute.
  6. Peel the cooled quail eggs and place them in a serving dish. Drizzle the garlic oil mixture over the eggs.
  7. Sprinkle chopped parsley and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
