Ingredients

  • Whole wheat bread - 4 slices
  • Halal turkey ham - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, sliced
  • Butter - 30 grams, softened
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Spread the softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the non-buttered side of two slices, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard.
  3. Layer the Halal turkey ham evenly on top of the mustard, followed by the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Sprinkle chopped parsley and black pepper over the cheese.
  5. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the skillet.
  7. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
