- Mandioca (cassava) - 500 grams

- Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Peel the mandioca (cassava) and cut it into 5 cm pieces.
- In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Add the mandioca pieces to the boiling water and cook for about 30 minutes, or until they are tender and easily pierced with a fork.
- Drain the mandioca and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked mandioca to the skillet and gently toss to coat with the garlic oil.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
