- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Red wine vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the maminha to the marinade, ensuring it's well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare the chimichurri sauce by mixing the chopped parsley, red wine vinegar, oregano, and red chili flakes in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated maminha to the pan.
- Cook the beef for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the maminha from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the sliced maminha with a generous drizzle of chimichurri sauce on top.
