Ingredients

  • Maminha (beef tip) - 600 grams
  • Garlic cloves - 4, minced
  • Fresh rosemary - 2 sprigs, chopped
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped rosemary, olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and paprika to create a marinade.
  2. Rub the marinade evenly over the maminha, making sure to cover all sides. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator for up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  4. Once hot, place the marinated maminha on the grill and sear for about 5 minutes on each side to develop a nice crust.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and continue grilling for an additional 40-50 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 54-57°C for medium-rare.
  6. Remove the maminha from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice against the grain and serve with your choice of sides.
