  • Fresh basil leaves - 30 grams
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams (for garnish)
  • Pumpkin seeds - 2 tablespoons (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the avocado, fresh basil, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, nutritional yeast, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding reserved pasta water a tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.
